Dosage
There is a particular dosage when it comes to using emu oil and capsules. If the user prefers oil, then he or she must take half a teaspoon of the oil and rub it where the pain is intense. The absorption time of the oil is generally 3-5 minutes; but this depends on what kind of skin it is being used on. The oil application can be repeated every 4-6 hours for about a month. If it is taken in capsule form, then start the dosage slowly. Start with about one capsule a day and then increase it to two capsules a day after about a week.
Remember not to get emu oil into clothes; the dark stains it causes will never go away.
