Emu oil can be stored in one’s medicine cabinet for two years. However, if the bottle is opened, then preserve it in the refrigerator to maintain its potency. Always remember to screw the cap of the bottle tightly or it will solidify and cannot be used later. Preserving it in the cellar or basement will also help because it will not be exposed to direct sunlight.
